This past weekend the dancers of Momentum Dance Project performed in their first ever showcase. All seats were taken, some were sitting on the floor, and still some were standing in the back on chairs. The energy in the room was supportive, exciting, and filled with a calm energy all at the same time.
The lights were already dimmed, and as the time had come to address the audience I felt nervous for the first time that day. We were overjoyed by the love in the room as I enthusiastically spoke about our amazing artists and the cause for which we were dancing.
Everyone performed beautifully! Each piece, as it entered and left, permeated the atmosphere and left an impression in the space. I couldn't have been more proud to see these individuals, that I am blessed to call my students, take to the stage with their pieces for the first time.
We are blessed. We are a community. We are Momentum Dance Project.
We are blessed and embark to serve our community. Momentum Dance Project will continue to pursue these opportunities going forward and hope you will continue to support our efforts.

Sarah’s... an Oasis for Women is a home dedicated to safety and dignity for a diverse community of women where they can begin new and productive lives. Sarah's welcomes women who have survived violence, abuse, torture, war, discrimination and trauma.
